Ustaadh Muhammad Alshareef, of Egyptian origin, was born and raised in Canada. He became hafidh al Qur'an (memorized Qur'an) at the age of 11. He was accepted at the Islamic University of Madinah after highschool. Upon graduation from the Islamic University of Madinah in 1999, Ustaadh Muhammad Alshareef returned to North America and began giving Khutbahs in Canada. To train himself in the art of speaking, he would fully write out each Khutbah, memorize the key points, and eventualy conduct the Khutbah without notes. So that others may benefit, the text of the khutbah at that time were then sent out to a modest mailing list. Today that same mailing list immediately reaches over 2500 people and subsequent mailings reach over fifteen thousand.
