Islam and the Media
Introduction
It is a fact that Islam receives a most Hostile media coverage. It is not difficult to see that Muslim's are being falsely stereotyped as a threat to the "New World Order".
Although this website is dedicated towards understanding Islam and its viewpoint towards christianity, nevertheless, the media's constant negative and hostile attack on Islam, has indeed left a very negative imprint on the minds of the people. Hence, its an uphill task for anyone trying to portray true Islam.
Negative propaganda against Islam and Muslims is in part based on genuine ignorance but in a greater part it is a calculated, goal oriented campaign of smear. It's main goal is to create mis-apprehension of Islam and Muslims through mis-perception which is created through mis-information, dis-information and stereotyping. Such campaigns are launched by religious and political demagogues.
Thanks to the CIA’s complete infiltration of the US major media and the collusion of media editors and journalists in this crusade and thanks to the cowardly and obedient journalists who are supposed to write about the real nature of this crusade, and thanks and to a population who’s minds have been so fabulously obliterated by years of programming by the mind slum that is television, the crusaders have had a free ride. After all these years infiltrating and or buying the media they have created their own consent machine, giving themselves a perpetual green light - like there’s no one left to stop them...
...or so they think.
Things they say
Anti-Islam demagogues and liars come in all shapes and colors. Some have a reputation as "Orientalists" and "Scholars" and others are lowly street worms and there are others in between. Just to get some taste of the lies and anti-Islam poison read the following quotes. The Names of speakers, authors, publications and publishing organizations are omitted so that they do not get free publicity and notoriety.:
"Muhammad was a violent man. If he were living today, he would be, perhaps, diagnosed as psychotic, a serial killer, a mass murderer, someone who was involved in having sex with children. .... And the religion of Islam produces terrorism which we see today." From a radio interview broadcast.
"The historical background concerning the origin and meaning of the Arabian "Allah" reveals that Allah cannot be the God of the biblical patriarchs, the Jews, or the Christians. Allah is merely a revamped and magnified Arabian pagan moon deity." From a book.
"The cult of the moon god which worshipped Allah was transformed by Muhammad into a monotheistic faith. Because Muhammad started with a pagan god, it comes as no surprise that he ended up with a pagan god." From a book.
"One example of Arab racism is the myth that the Arabs are descendants of Abraham through his son Ishmael. This claim was made in response to the Jews who had boasted that Abraham was the father of their race." From a book.
"There was no concept of civil or personal rights in seventh-century Arabia. The head of the tribe decided whether you lived or died. This is why Islamic countries are always inevitably ruled by dictators or 'strong men' who rule as despots. There are 21 Arab nations, and not one of them is a democracy." From a book.
"Even today, Muslim women can be kept prisoners in their own homes." From a book.
"For example, the very word 'islam' was not revealed from heaven or invented by Muhammad. It is an Arabic word which originally referred to an attribute of manliness and described someone who was heroic and brave in battle." From a book.
"But when you turn to ecstatic, confused speeches of Muhammad as found in the Qur'an, you do not find anything outstanding. There is nothing which matches the beauty, substance, or style of the way Jesus preached the gospel during His lifetime." From a book.

Afghanistan Ambassador Sayyid Rahmatullah Hashemi...
"CNN was in Afghanistan interviewing bin Laden, in `98. You have to be careful in listening to this. I was there, and they asked bin Laden as to what was the thinking about the killing of civilians in Iraq. After three hours of formal conversation, and the camera was rolling. He said, that if all American citizens and if all British citizens are willing, or supporting, to kill all Iraqi civilians, then all American citizens and all British citizens deserve the same thing or to be killed. CNN cut everything. Three-hour conversation was not there, only thing they put was and it was not complete the only clause that they said was, the independent clause of what he said, they said that, all American and British citizens must be killed. This is what came on the air. But he didn t mean this. And I know that all Americans do not support the killing [of] civilians there. Not even a quarter of that. That was impossible. But now what they taught their people was that bin Laden is saying that all American civilians must be killed."
"The United States government tried to kill a man without even giving him a fair trial. In 1998, they just sent cruise missiles into Afghanistan and they announced that they were trying to kill Osama bin Laden. We didn t know Osama bin Laden then. I didn t know him; he was just a simple man. So we were all shocked. I was one of those men who was sitting at home at night, I was called for an immediate council meeting and we all were told the United States have attacked Afghanistan. With 75 cruise missiles and trying to kill one man. And they missed that man; killed 19 other students and never apologized for those killings. So what would you do if you were in our status; if we were to go and send 75 cruise missiles into the United States and say that we were going to kill a man that we thought not believed that we thought was responsible for our embassy, and we missed that man, and we killed 19 other Americans what would the United States do? An instant declaration of war. But we we're polite. We didn t declare war. We had a lot of problems at home; we didn t want further problem[s]. And since then, we are very open-minded on this issue. We have said, that if really this man is involved in the Kenya/Tanzania acts, if anybody can give us proof or evidence about his involvement in these horrific acts, we will punish him. Nobody gave us evidence. We put him on trial for 45 days and nobody gave us any kind of evidence."
